how are you?
Need ko lang mabigay ung medical results ko sa MOM then I can collect my pass then I can open a bank account then I can have my salary and advances.
Na mit ko pa personally ung may-ari at first time daw nila ipapa-rent ung unit.
until then. =)
house viewing
Yesterday we checked out the house that my agent choose per my given requirements and conditions. Location are near to Science Park, Singapore west side.
Faber Crest – this is so nice, a 4 storey apartment type. but 300m away from bus stop. indi reasonable… ang LAYO!
Normanton Park – ayoko ng structure at 29 years old na yung building. tsaka walking distance lang sa ofc. mahirap na bawal akong umuwi ng maaga hehe kasi malapit lang sa ofc.
Park West – kinda old din tsaka ang daming tenant =(
Regent Park – this can be possible sana lang matawaran. ang mahal eh.
The nearest MRT station to the above condo is Clementi. hay ang layo sa Airport pano kung me bisita ako ang hirap at masiadong mahal mag taxi.
Sabi ni Nona sa east area mahal na rin ang rent kasi nga talagang tumaas ang rate this year, so I also need to balance if ever makakuha ako sa …..East side + travel fares versus West side with higher cost and less travel fares.
Welcome to Singapore
I arrived last Monday (May 1), SG is such a convenient country.
Nona my officemate welcomed me at the airport and accompany me to the hotel, then showed me around like a refresher course on how to’s on the streets of Singapore. (been here last July 2005). We also bought a starhub sim card, this is a priority of course. I need to call her in case I get lost hehe.
My first reporting day to our SG office went well, My Korean boss is so supportive. Likewise the pinoy officemates are very glad to finally see me, after the whirlwind relocation process.
Everyday I am required to walk 1.5 km to the MRT/Bus station from the hotel then another 1 km from MRT transfer to the Bus going to our office building, also during lunch we have to walk atleast half km to the food stations. I know, should not complain, walking is good to burn out the accumulated fats! he he or Maybe without carrying the 2.75 kg laptop huhu.
My usual lunch expenses are ranging from SGD2.00 to SGD5.00 a day. The boss treated me to a Japanese resto dinner and oh darn! my chopticks skill is so palpak again! Need to practice more on eating hot noodles. She also teach me how to ride a direct bus going to my hotel. (yipee! less walking). But I only do this whenever I bring home the laptop, promise =).
Now its Saturday and election day here. I actually dont know how to wash my used clothes, the office forgot to include a free laundry service on my hotel account. I’m still convincing Nona if I can bring in the dirty clothes and washed it to there house. I know, such a big electricty-water expensive favor. But for now I managed to hand wash some of it hehe, soaked for an hour in the bath tub haha. (meron akong Ariel na baon, wais!)
I also contacted an agent who can help me look for a condo, I hope I can find a condo with complete amenities that is within the budget. We will start the house viewing this coming weekdays.
Later, I might go to the Botanical Garden and practice taking nice pictures =).
Hotel room pics are here.
till then.
