@ seven weeks – ang hirap!
Ang hirap maglihi!! As in whole day ang sama ng pakiramdam ko.
I’m always looking forward sa 6 pm uwian and the weekend so I can just relax sa bahay.
Food that I always love to eat tasted weird.
We had another check up and good news is… my baby is now 1.7 cm and the heart is now beating ang galing! bad news naman dahil… I gained 500 grams hehe di nako makakain nian ha.
Bernard is very excited with the baby, madami na siang pinapangarap hehe. Lahat daw ng di nia naranasan, gagawin ng baby namin.
Hay matagal tagal pa ang hihintayin namin bago namin sia makita.
@ six weeks – taking it easy
Our lifestyle change drastically since we knew that were having a baby.
Bernard is so praning with all that I do, bawal yan! bawal yun! He is now the official Yaya and doing all the house chores. I cannot blame him, we are on the first trim, we need to be very-very careful, napaka delicate pa ng stage namin.
I have different food cravings, mostly are pinoy food, kainis because I can only have them during the weeken’s when we have the chance to cook sa bahay. Naawa naman kasi ako sa asawa ko, kung paglulutuin ko pa. Buti na lang, I have this pinoy colleague who brings me food when I requested something na di na makahintay ng weekend.
Hindi na rin ako pwedeng kumain basta basta sa mga hawker centers, bawal na rin ang Subway sanwiches kasi mukang di gaanong luto yung mga fillings nila. But one thing I liked most, in all of the food centers here are the fresh supply of fruits and juices. buti na lang meron kasi pag wala akong gana at maisip na kainin, I just settled my self with fruits and juices.
I just hated the feeling na pag hindi ako kumain my stomach is so ACIDIC at pag kumain naman ako I will have the urge to throw-up! pero nakakayanan ko pa naman at pinipigilan ko sarili ko…cool lang ako!
@ 5 weeks – we are pregnant
I never missed my period ever, so I knew within me that i’m pregnant. After 4 delayed days, I bought a pregnancy test and it turned out the way I expected to. But of course we need the gynae’s confirmation before we can tell everyone.
So we went for my first gynae check up, I’m so hoping that the one I choose will not dissapoint because I dont wanna spend money if I will not feel at ease, ang mahal kasi dito.
The clinic are packed with pregnant ladies with their husband, and I told Bernard “tingnan mo buti na lang sinamahan moko, kundi ako lang walang husband!”. He is very hesitant kasi to take a half day leave that day. Finally it was our turn and the gynae called my name. First thing I noticed is she’s a Catholic yung kasing pendant ng necklace nia is a Cross which is a good thing atleast we have the same faith.
Her voice is so calm and very reassuring, first thing she did is show me the pregnancy test that I take with her assistant and greeted us congratulations. Then we discussed about the charges, suggested an options if where should I give birth? If here or to go back in Manila with the assurance that all will be possible.
As of now we decided to do birthing here, atleast I will not consumed my maternity leave that early and have the opportunity to spend more time with the baby, also Bernard will be left alone here, wawa naman asawa ko.
The gynae said my tentative due date is between last week of April to first week of May 2008. If I will go back to Manila, I need to go by March, We just need to get ready with the expenses and will be all good!
