@ 5 weeks – we are pregnant
I never missed my period ever, so I knew within me that i’m pregnant. After 4 delayed days, I bought a pregnancy test and it turned out the way I expected to. But of course we need the gynae’s confirmation before we can tell everyone.
So we went for my first gynae check up, I’m so hoping that the one I choose will not dissapoint because I dont wanna spend money if I will not feel at ease, ang mahal kasi dito.
The clinic are packed with pregnant ladies with their husband, and I told Bernard “tingnan mo buti na lang sinamahan moko, kundi ako lang walang husband!”. He is very hesitant kasi to take a half day leave that day. Finally it was our turn and the gynae called my name. First thing I noticed is she’s a Catholic yung kasing pendant ng necklace nia is a Cross which is a good thing atleast we have the same faith.
Her voice is so calm and very reassuring, first thing she did is show me the pregnancy test that I take with her assistant and greeted us congratulations. Then we discussed about the charges, suggested an options if where should I give birth? If here or to go back in Manila with the assurance that all will be possible.
As of now we decided to do birthing here, atleast I will not consumed my maternity leave that early and have the opportunity to spend more time with the baby, also Bernard will be left alone here, wawa naman asawa ko.
The gynae said my tentative due date is between last week of April to first week of May 2008. If I will go back to Manila, I need to go by March, We just need to get ready with the expenses and will be all good!
